The University of Alberta is looking to launch and offer a certificate 3 day course on defect assessment of pipelines on November 7th 2016.
At the end of the 3 days, there will be an assessment and a certificate will be provided to the students upon successful completion of the course.
Topics:
•Introduction to pipeline steel defects and failure mechanisms
•Fundamentals for defect assessment
•Codes and standards (CSA and ASME) for defect assessment and practice examples
