On November 2,2019, YPAC sponsored the 2019 University of Alberta Engineering Competition! The annual competition has been organized by the University of Alberta Engineering Student’s Society since the 1980’s and is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to apply classroom learnings to real life engineering problems.
Sponsorship of the University of Alberta Engineering Competition aligns with the YPAC vision of ensuring the sustainable future of the pipeline industry, by connecting the pipeline sector to engineering students partaking in the competition. Competition categories included:
- Junior Design
- Senior Design
- Re-Engineering
- Consulting
- Programming
- Communications
The winner of each category at the 2019 University of Alberta Engineering Competition, will represent the University of Alberta at the 2020 Western Engineering Competition being held at the University of Saskatchewan in January 2020.
