Volunteering for a YEIP chapter or committee enables accelerated professional development and builds skills that are outside of your day-to-day work. 

In pursuing our first mandate to increase the influence of young professionals in energy policy and industry leadership, YEIP provides its members with opportunities, network, and knowledge to equip them to lead the conversations of our industry. 

A major focus of our effort is also in advocacy for effective energy infrastructure. We believe that we can only achieve a sustainable energy future if we have effective infrastructure policy and industry collaboration that leverages existing energy infrastructure & associated industries. YEIP seeks to provide a platform to do this by designing what a sustainable energy future looks like in young professionals’ perspective and voicing that in government policy development processes and industry strategy decisions.
