A Message from YPAC’s Outgoing President

Sarah Vandaiyar reflects on her two years at the helm of the Young Pipeliners Association of Canada

From Sarah Vandaiyar:

With my two-year term as President & CEO drawing to a close, I am happy to announce that Molly Beckel, will be my successor for the 2020-2022 term.

My focus has always been to “build the next generation of leaders in the pipeline industry” and it has been my privilege to work alongside the central executive committee in bringing this goal to life.

YPAC is an amazing community – I love the way that we have harnessed the entrepreneurial spirit of young professionals in the pipeline industry, and I love the bigness of the bets that we have taken with our programming and events. I love our people and the way we have embraced each other’s strengths and talent to change the world and succeed together.

YPAC has an incredible future ahead and I am so proud to have had a small part in its long history. Know that it is the creativity, bold vision and focus that drive the industry forward. More than ever before, young professionals have a part in the conversation about Canada’s energy future – we can not and will not miss a beat in these conversations. I am focused and working hard alongside all of you and know that I can count on all of you to do the same.
