The CGA OEIC (Operations, Engineering, Integrity, and Construction) Conference is being held in Calgary from February 24-27th, 2020! YPAC Partners with the CGA to ensure that young pipeliners are represented at the conference, and are included in the planning process.
The CGA has graciously offered to put on a contest for four free passes to the conference. Students and those with under five years of industry experience are eligible to enter.
The conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary. Full information is included in the attachment below.
In order to be eligible, applicants must submit by February 7th, 2020 a one page letter (no more than 400 words) including their name, institution, and area of study. The letter should demonstrate an interest or experience in the Canadian natural gas delivery industry and an understanding of:
•The role of natural gas in Canada’s energy mix,
•The role of natural gas in Canada’s economy, and/or
•How natural gas can support efforts to reduce emissions.
Students will be selected based on the content of the letter. Send responses to John Milner and David McConkey. Students selected will be contacted by February 14nd, 2020 with an invitation to attend and further details.
Note – Conference passes and all meals during the conference are included, travel and accommodation are not.
