YEIP Recognizes: National Indigenous Peoples Day
National Indigenous Peoples Day is recognized annually on June 21 to celebrate and honour the achievements, rich cultures and unique heritage of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada. For generations, many Indigenous Peoples have celebrated their culture and heritage on or near the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year.
