We’ll be joined by Kassem Elrafih, Solution Architect at Schneider Electric who will be providing insight about pipeline SCADA systems, advanced liquids and gas applications. From a high level overview of SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition System), to the examination of Liquids and Gas Operations control, computational pipeline integrity, and commercial applications. Kassem Elrafih will give you the critical insight needed to understand everything digital about Pipelines!

Kassem Elrafih
Schneider Electric – ePLMS Solution Architect
A BSc. Graduate of Computer Science from the University of Calgary. I have spent 20 years working in the field of oil and gas automation and asset optimization software. I have managed large scale Automation deployments for companies such as Williams Energy, Marthon Pipelines and large Operational Data historian deployments for Encana and Williams Energy. My career has taken me from software developer to project manager and more recently to solution architecture. Proud father of 3 with my oldest starting her first year at the university of Calgary just this year. In my spare time I coach youth basketball and I am an avid outdoorsman.
