YPAC Newsletter & Industry News

Well, we are pretty sure no one predicted 2016 would begin the way it has unfolded.  With 2015 behind us, it seems as though those still employed in oil and gas will have to hold on tight in 2016 too.  There is “blood on the streets” as many investors would call it.  The pipeline rhetoric in Canada has ramped up as well, along with adapted review rules for energy projects released by the NEB.  All in all, the first 45 days of 2016 have been eventful to say the least.  The conversation on pipelines in Canada has ramped up and it’s this reason as to why many of the volunteers and members of YPAC are excited to attend events and get involved with the group this year.  We encourage you to join!

We would also like to take this opportunity to recognize one of our own, Kara Edmonson, who has sat on the YPAC Committee for the 2013-14 years was recognized in the Enbridge Corporate Blog.

YPF Australia

The YPF was born at a seminar for young people in the pipeline industry held in Canberra in May 2006. The enthusiasm of those young people to have a voice in the industry and to learn from its elders and other participants has continued and, in 2016, to celebrate its first decade, the YPF will hold its second national seminar in Canberra. Further information about this event will be published here when it becomes available.
