About YPAC Atlantic:

The Atlantic Chapter began its formation in late 2020 with a focus on outreach within the regional pipeline and energy industry. Short-term goals of the chapter include building a membership base to engage in discussion of what it looks like to be a young professional in the Atlantic Canadian pipeline industry and how opportunities can be facilitated for development, stewardship, and networking for these members. Long-term goals for the chapter include bringing an awareness to the region of how valuable pipelines are to the energy sector, and to have a voice when engaging in discussions with industry leaders and government.

Members of the chapter can expect monthly meetings hosted by the co-chairs in a virtual setting. These meetings will serve as a time to communicate exclusive access to events, industry opportunities, and provide contact to senior industry expertise where members see fit.

YPAC Atlantic will host 4 public events a year including various webinars, workshops, social events, networking opportunities, and more! When it becomes safe to have in-person events, the chapter will host a networking/social event at one of the Atlantic hubs.

The chapter will also provide its members with volunteering and leadership opportunities including but not limited to government engagement, developing technical standards, participating in research, networking with senior industry professionals, managing a team, and social media outreach.
